My paintings are a celebration of color and texture. An exploration of the interaction between the two. Often very subtle, they play off each other creating intimate spaces within the larger one. Developed by creating many layers, some so thin that they are barely visible, while other layers are heavier bolder applications each contributing to the visual story. Its a process of create, destroy and recreate. A process that is both planned and spontaneous. This is the journey that I am compelled to pursue. A journey that I share with you...
